Think Make Live Youth Guns D.O.W.N. Program

Calling Young People Ages 13-24

This is a weekly program. A safe place for teen talk, questions, exploration, and fun!

Young people will engage in weekly group sessions facilitated by trained Credible Messengers. Young people will learn new things, practice skills, hear from guest speakers, participate in fun activities, and gain resources on job opportunities, fitness, wellness, tech, entrepreneurship, arts, social justice, goal setting, conflict management, and more.

Young people will receive positive text messages and snacks!

Our Programs

The Guns D.O.W.N. Columbus Community Action Team (CAT)

A pioneering gun violence prevention initiative in Columbus, Ohio. Aimed at individuals aged 13-24, this program offers a series of weekly sessions designed to foster a safe environment for participants to express themselves, heal from trauma, acquire new life skills, and reduce risky behaviors.

UP - UNLEASHING POTENTIAL

Unleashing Potential (UP) is a transformative program developed in collaboration with the Franklin County Municipal Court, aimed at providing comprehensive support to young adults aged 18-24 who are navigating the challenges of the criminal justice system. The initiative is designed to divert eligible participants away from traditional legal pathways and into a more supportive environment where they can work on creating a personalized 12-month wellness plan.

The Social Justice Awards​

An annual celebration which recognizes outstanding contributions to social justice within the community. This event honors individuals and organizations that have shown exceptional commitment to community service, public service, education, law enforcement, restorative justice, healthcare, youth justice, and legal advocacy. This celebration not only acknowledges their achievements but also aims to inspire continued efforts towards creating a just and equitable society​.
